These pieces are either done in acrylic or oil paint in stick form. They are all done on heavyweight paper and some come from my sketchbooks while others are standalone pieces.

They are all studies and sketches, often made as preparation for future paintings or to be incorporated into digital pieces. The main difference between this section and my big paintings is not only the physical size of the pieces but also the complexity of the composition. All pieces here are smaller than 12x18 inches and they tend to only feature one item and a background.
